We pick up at billeting, base housing, the dorms and the passenger terminal. Give us the building when you book and your driver meets you there, not at the gate.

Distances and drive times

Travis AFB to the airports

Drive times to each airport are quoted with your booking, for the time of day you actually travel — a 4am run and a 4pm run are not the same trip.

What we do differently

Built around how the base actually travels

Any hour, no surcharge

Report times do not respect business hours. Neither do we. A 0300 pickup costs the same as a 1500 one.

PCS and TDY loads

Extra bags, hold baggage, pets, strollers and car seats. Tell us the load and we send the vehicle that fits it.

Voucher-ready receipts

Itemised by date, route, vehicle and total, emailed straight after the ride.

Unit and group rates

Four or more travelers moving together, in one Transit van rather than three separate cars.

Families left behind

Spouses and kids running the airport run without the service member. Free car seats, installed.

Flat rate, quoted first

Put your pickup and airport into the booking form and the rate comes back before you commit to anything. It holds.

Sedans, SUVs and the Ford Transit van — seats, luggage capacity and starting prices for each are on the fleet page. Tell us how many people and how many bags and we will pick the right one.

“Four of us plus six balikbayan boxes for the Manila flight. Every other company told us to book two cars. The van took everything in one trip and the driver loaded it all himself at five in the morning.”

“Booked at eleven at night for a six a.m. pickup and someone actually answered the phone. Price quoted was the price paid. He was outside four minutes early.”

“Two car seats, fitted and checked before we came out of the house. I have had three rideshare drivers cancel on me for exactly that reason. Worth every dollar not to start a holiday in an argument.”

FAQ

TRAVIS AIRPORT SHUTTLES FAQ

+ Can your drivers come on base?

Yes. We pick up at billeting, base housing, the dorms and the passenger terminal. Tell us the building when you book and your driver will meet you there rather than at the gate.

+ Do you run at report times?

That is most of what we do. Zero-dark-thirty departures, midnight arrivals, weekends and federal holidays — same flat rate.

+ Which airport should I use from Travis AFB?

Sacramento (SMF) is closest and usually cheapest. SFO carries the most international routes and is the one most PCS itineraries route through. Oakland and San José are often better value on specific carriers. Each route page publishes the distance, drive time and flat rate so you can compare properly.

+ Do you handle PCS moves?

Regularly. Extra luggage, hold baggage, pets, car seats and multiple passengers are all standard for us. Tell us how many people and how much gear and we will send a vehicle that actually fits it.

+ Can I get a receipt for my travel voucher?

Yes — an itemised receipt showing date, route, vehicle and total, issued by email straight after the ride.

+ Do you offer a military discount?

Yes — 10% off for service members and their families; show your ID to the driver. Riders paying cash also get 10% off. The two do not stack, so it is one discount per ride, whichever applies. Rates are flat and quoted before you book.

+ Are you affiliated with the base?

Travis Airport Shuttles is a private company. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Travis Air Force Base, the United States Air Force, or the Department of Defense.
